Our favorite childhood treat for Halloween!
1/2 stick unsalted butter
9 cups popped popcorn (I used Skinny Pop sweet and Salty Kettle this time!)
Food coloring (optional)
1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows and continue stirring until smooth and completely melted.
2. If you are adding food coloring, stir it in now.
3. Remove mixture from heat, and gently fold in popcorn with a spatula until completely coated.
4. Add some butter to your hands (trust me it makes things so much easier!) and shape the popcorn into balls. Set the popcorn balls on parchment paper to cool, and add sprinkles at this time if you desire! Makes about 9.
